Next he’ll be suing for what everyone said he did on Platoon.
I’m not a lawyer, but I am a journalist, and from what I understand this is an unwinnable lawsuit. California has some of the strongest anti-SLAPP laws in the nation. Do any lawyers have input because I can’t understand why he’s even bothering when he’s going to have to pay all those editors’ attorney fees when he loses. Is it just symbolic?
