It is a jointless, seamless pipe lining within an existing pipe.
There is a video on here that I wasn’t able to share due to restrictions on this sub.
We have a broken pipe in our well. No idea where the leak is (air). The well is 150m from the house. It’s not possible to dig a new pipe due to too much “kallio” and a protected forest. The existing pipe runs through that forest. There is kallio blocking all other directions.
Digging new wells have failed. There was zero water in the only one we managed to complete. All other locations we tried to dig are full of pure rock (kallio).
The only other option is a deep well. Our plumber doesn’t recommend that because of filtering issues and radon.
(Our house has not been tested for radon).

Sounds like “sukitus”.
We use this for sewer repair. In finnish its called ‘sukitus’.
Fresh water pipes are usually smaller in diameter, so this type of repair isn’t suitable.
CIPP is meant for pipes with decreased condition. Not for broken pipes.
If the pipe is broken, the CIPP is prone to break.
