Artist from Derry. Went down to Dingle a couple of weeks ago and was chuffed to see my painting of Tom Crean on display in The South Pole Inn. One of my favourite figures in Irish history 👍

1. I encourage everyone to read the book by Michael Smith, harrowing stuff. One of the most overlooked Antarctic explorers in the early 20th Century.

   It’s technically Annascual village just outside Dingle

6. I love when Tom Crean gets some love. I’ve been fascinated with him since the Father told me his story after we saw that Guinness ad years ago.
