Hard to know has this all completely backfired for Putin?
Seems all he has achieved is a more strengthened NATO, no new commitments (yet),a more anti Russia Ukraine (if polling is to believed) and some new modern weaponry for the Ukraine military.
Could be a good time for Germany to consider buying some F35s
The goal of Russia is to remind the west that they have the military means to do whatever they want. Ukraine sadly may be a casualty in all of this.
