  1. I doubt anyone would accuse the Gardaí of having an overabundance of respect for the rules of the road like.

  2. While it’s obviously good that they’re being held to account, the “closed doors” nature of the outcome is pretty frustrating. Doesn’t do much to improve the credibility of the organisation, which I think already has enough of a “public trust” problem

  3. Next, start docking the pay of the ones who park officla vehicles in bus lanes outside shops so they can pick up their lunch (Centra, Westland Row, Dublin, off the top of my head). They need to be examples of behaviour and not breaking laws/rules for the sake of convenience.

  4. Flashing his badge like he’s Billy big balls, who gives a shit if you’re a guard or not we don’t have to bow down to you, delighted the prick got caught on camera because nothing would have happened otherwise, dope.

  5. Yesterday I saw two garda vehicles turn on sirens coming down Dame Street in Dublin, Do an illegal u-turn on one of the busiest streets in the city then quickly pull in beside Parliament House, (by now I was curious about what was going on) then about 5 of them hopped out and walked into Starbucks… couldn’t write it!
