Hello everyone!
So, I'm going on a 3-day hike and camping trip with my friend, and we want to try fishing as a part of the trip (neither of us has fished in our life).

Currently, I'm having some trouble understanding the fishing rules. After doing some research on https://www.nationalparks.fi/everymansright and https://www.eraluvat.fi/en/fishing/fisheries-management-fee.html, my understanding is that fishing using simple rod and line is a part of everyman's right, and using reel and lure is subjected to fisheries management fee. However, what about using only reel (i.e. no lure) (e.g. float fishing)? Is it equivalent to "simple rod and line" and a part of everyman's right, or would that be subjected to fisheries management fee as well?

Besides the fisheries management fee, is it correct to understand that "angling permit" is location-based permission, not exactly equipment-based (e.g. lure vs bobber/float fishing) permission?

Another topic is equipment preparation. We don't have a boat nor fishing pants, so fishing on the shore is the only option. Since we are on a hike, we would be limited to how long and clunky the rod we can carry. I found some budget telescopic 6-meter rod that is 1,15m when retracted. In your opinion, is that too clunky for the hiking trip, or do you have any suggestion to carry it along the rucksack? Besides, from the pictures, the rod looks like a pipe with no place to attach reel nor guide ring, so do you have any knowledge on using such rod?
Or should I go for this one instead? Is a 240cm rod too short for fishing on the shore?
I'm open for suggestion besides those 2 options as well.
Looking forward to your opinion.
Thank you in advance and best regards!

just buy a permit for 6e a day and not try to read every fine print. Use the app eräluvat and you can do it in a minute from your phone [https://play.google.com/store/search?q=er%C3%A4luvat&c=apps](https://play.google.com/store/search?q=er%C3%A4luvat&c=apps)
[this](https://www.biltema.fi/en-fi/leisure/fishing/fishing-sets/telescopic-fishing-set-240-cm-2000060727) one is good.
