  1. Cuba has the most cost-effective healthcare in the world, rated bettet than the US, at one tenth the cost. It's cornerstone is local clinics, & preventative care.

  2. 50+years nursing people and year after year I observe the NHS making wasteful changes all for the sake of change – centralisation, localisation centralisation localisation. Each generation of senior management not learning from the past and totally ignoring patient needs despite saying that they put patients at the core of their decisions. It is all bull – changes are always driven by accountants not patient needs. And too many yes-people in pivotal positions climbing the greasy pole who don’t want to step out of line in case it hurts their career trajectory!!

  3. it is not about "localism" it is about BUROCRATS taking all the power. doctors have to be put in charge of health care. not mates of PM.

go to ANY NHS board meeting. amount of actual medics there decreased year by year till reached zero. zero. only burocrats on massive wages. THEY made junior doctor contract 80h a week, THEY frozen salaries for a decade, THEY limited uni places to availanility of NHS places for F1/F2, while 90% of locally trained doctors REFUSE TO WORK in NHS which long because a slave labour camp suitable only for DESPERATE or NAIVE or FAKE third world graduates

  4. The 147 report to state the blindingly obvious is exactly why nationalised health care or any other government controlled industry will always fail.
