Putin meets with Mongolian president as he defies ICC arrest warrant

Vladimir Putin arrived in Mongolia on Monday 2 September, the first time the Russian president has visited an International Criminal Court (ICC) member country since the body issued a warrant for his arrest in 2023.

While officially commemorating a Soviet-Mongolian military victory in the Second World War, Mr Putin’s visit will test the small central Asian country’s policy of neutrality and the reach of international institutions.

Mongolia, a country of just 3.3 million people but with huge geographical territory, has long navigated its foreign policy in the shadow of Russia and China, with whom it has extensive historical and economic ties.

  1. Of course Mongolia is siding with Putin and Xi, they dont have any other option.

Have a look at a map – If either putin or xi or both invade Mongolia, who will come to their aide?

We know NATO wont its against their charter. We know the US wont, as there is no oil. We know the UN and the ICC cant.

So who will go to war against Russia and China to defend Mongolia?

  2. Wrong cover photo – that is the previous President of Mongolia Elbegdorj who is an outspoken critic of Putin and the war on Ukraine

  3. ICC is corrupt. Putin isn't in the right but nor is Zelensky. It's a war caused by many many factors including NATO, ethnic Russians in Ukraine, the EU, the weak Biden government and Putin's idea of a Greater Russia.

  4. To think the ICC is now literally the friend of Nazis.
Shame on you, the "Independent" ie the epitomy of gutter press.

  5. Mongolia. Are yes the great fighting power, they have big sticks and a failing Russian Army, big wow, they too will be defeated now

  6. but it was ok for Netanyahu to defy his warrant and go to the USA oh thats right because neither country follow the ICC or the ICJ

  7. does anyone like hero wars , these adverts do my head in .i definatey would'nt. even try it the over advertising kills the interest. if these ads work god help us

  8. Where's the ICC arrest warrants for US, UK & EU leaders starting illegal wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Serbia, Syria, Yemen, Mali, Ukraine, etc.? Or the Turkish leader for occupying parts of Cyprus & Syria, and helping Azerbaijan to occupy & ethnically cleanse Nagorno-Karabakh? Or the Chinese leader for occupying Tibet, Sinkiang, Outer Mongolia & the South China Sea?

  9. Mongolia did not play double standard game they ignored the order of the ICJ like Western countries ignored the order if ICJ arrest warrant against israeli leaders who committed horrible crimes free plastine

  10. 'Dear Mr Mongolian President can I have some of your chocolate soldiers for service in the Ukraine because I'm losing so many of mine, including Russian conscripts who I said would not have to fight'.

  11. Whoever uploaded this video should upload another one asking for Biden Bush Blair Cameron Starmer Sunak Bush senior Netanyahu and Co to be arrested and prosecuted then he can spread poison why ICC arrest warrant was not executed? Countries are not crazy to follow the west or their corrupt ICC long live Mr Putin and long live Russia
