  1. That glance at the camera right at the end 👀

Why would you do it, especially so if you know you're being filmed..

  2. Must be one of Borris' post-Brexit "no need to learn reverse ….and other important bits" HGV drivers 🤦‍♀️ I hope he never hauls on Irish roads!!!

Seriously. Trucks need in-built signal jammers to cut them off from any mobile phone use. Especially absent mindedly picking it up because a notification beeps. But then, consequently, all truck stops and lay-bys (especially extremely rural stops) need to have optimum phone and internet coverage).

  3. He could have used his phone after he got out of his truck. Unfortunately, his 1 minute's selfish driving caused catastrophy for his remaining life

  4. I have no feelings for the driver other than he shouldn’t be texting whilst in charge of such a large vehicle; sincerely hope the courts prosecute with the right sentence

  5. "Where are the police?"
The same people when the police catch them driving with a phone:
"Why aren't they out there catching real criminals?"

  6. If you are caught driving while using a phone you get something like a £120 fine, reduced if you pay within a week or so. How about a 5 year driving ban, and if the car is yours it is seized and sold with the profits going to victims charities? Maybe then people will think before using their phone while at the wheel.
Also regarding breaking down in the motorway, where was the red warning triangle? They should be made a legal requirement. And were the car's hazard lights flashing? It was hard to tell.

  7. O TOLLERANCE. NOT DRIVE LORRY ANY MORE. ABSOLUTE ANY MORE. incredible how much stupid is this people. The camera, from owner-company, is the proof about crash. And the driver pay every pounds of damage. Not the company. Thank for share.

  8. it seems to me that people ARE going to use phones, illegal or not. Creating an addictive device then making it illegal is very American, in that it does not at all solve the problem. What we need is a head-up display of phone on the front window so that one can see both the phone and the road.

  9. So you really couldn't of taken the extra 30 SECONDS to put the car into neutral gear and push it like 1 meter to be off the road? Like why you chilling over the line like tbh this why women shouldn't be allowed like they can't push a car 30cm out the way 🤦🏾‍♂️
    Wow woman 🤦🏾‍♂️
You couldn't put on your hazard lights or put the reflective triangle that should be in your trunk at least?
The truck guy was also wrong but wow these women why I "hate" female drivers and I'm actually a feminist for equal rights but wow woman be stupid sometimes 🤦🏾‍♂️

  10. I'm not a driver but the amount of time I see drivers of all kind vehicles doing this is astonishing. What the hell can be so important that they can't find somewhere safe to stop and use the phone. Mobile phone are blessings and curses

  11. Those people on the left missed turning into strawberry jam by just a centimetre’s turn on his steering wheel

  12. He was glancing up for less than 2 seconds. Can't fully update that way. Need a minimum of 5 seconds to process what is scene through the window. Get a hands-free with a BIG display. Prefer to do vouce only. AND the default l–if you have to look at that BIG screen–is to stay looking out the window, until it is clear that you can quickly glance away for 1 second. Don't make the opposite your default instinct.

  13. Obviously knows there’s a camera in the truck and still texts while driving.not a lot going on up stairs there bro🤪

  14. To be fair texting and driving is a fine art, research shows only around 6% of people can do it without making spelling mistakes or having to rewrite the sentences.

Don’t risk if people, call, don’t text.

  15. The lorry driver should be charged with dangerous driving and negligence. He narrowly missed the woman. Unacceptable. 10 years in jail and banned from driving for life
