1. If that’s the case shouldn’t he have a government initiated impact assessment that can be shared. Either he has one and isn’t willing to share it, or he doesn’t and he hasn’t done his due diligence. Which is it?

3. He’s right. There’s no secret report. We all know it’s there, he just can’t make it public due to lynching probabilities.

4. He would say that. He’s probably being truthful, too, in that it’s likely “confidential” and not “secret”.

5. This is a massive misstep in policy, I don’t understand why they’re taking this approach. Is he trying to target those pensioners that have refused to leave their big family homes to make them downsize?

7. That’s because unless the report says “100% zero impact on pensioners”, it will be political carnage.

   It won’t go into the ways the money can be spent more effectively to have a bigger positive impact. Just a one directional focus on some miserable pensioner.

   Can we please have an impact assessment on the current planning laws? How many people are homeless because rents are too high? How many people are living in unhealthy conditions because slumlords have a captive market?

8. People will suffer and die because of these cuts.

   But that’s a sacrifice this cabinet is willing to make.

   Edit: These corporate/ genocidal/ NHS dismantling/ rats are no different to the previous Tories, they could tax the multi millionaires are billionaires an extra 1% and raise over 25 Billion- but they refuse to do this and want to save 1.5 Billion by making pensioners freeze.

   They will go after the disabled next, then the poor.
