When you tell people in any continental European country e.g. Italy how tall our mountains are, they laugh.
We are too fat, if you want to go to the mountain top, walk fatty.

Fuck no. It’s a beautiful natural spot and all this monstrosity appeals to is the same flock of gram wanker influencers looking a photo op and cruise passengers who might die after 4 steps.
The top of Donard is bad enough for dickheads drinking and littering as it is.
The Mournes are barely even mountains; they’re pretty but they’re just big hills. If you can’t get up them under your own steam, take yourself off and camp 2 feet from your Kia Sportage in Tollymore.

Another place for a brewdogs instead of a local brewery, stormont will love it.
I think once we get the bridge across to Scotland built, then we should have a serious look at this. But not before then.
There is absolutely no need. Snowdon is awful because of the lift, place is full of dickheads taking photos like it’s the Everest base camp when thy came up on the train.
Would be a waste of money wouldn’t be used frequently enough to warrant the millions spent. This isn’t the Swiss alps we don’t get that many tourists going to the mournes every year. And they aren’t particularly hard to climb as long as you are in reasonable shape
We aren’t allowed nice things we’re dicks!

Funding for this was just paused, soon to be cancelled. This was part of the Belfast City Regional Deal package.
Cable Car is a terrible plan.
What Newcastle needs is a genuine, bona fide… electrified, six-car monorail.
