Perhaps it’s time for humans to learn to stop building houses in the river/seas. We have the same issue in our country and people always seem to rebuild in exactly the same location.
I’m sorry 😢
I hope for safety and security for the affected residents
Oh dear, I’m sorry! Keep us updated if you can: hoping for safety for those affected
Gosh it is so much water for sure !
wow.. that’s terrible. hope you can get out of of there and get somewhere safe.
please be safe. take care.
Wow! I’ve been through severe river flooding before in the US. It is truly a nightmare! I wish you all the best of luck!! I’m so sorry for all involved!
One piece of advice, never underestimate how quickly the water level can rise. You may think it’s stabilized and has stopped rising, only for it to shoot up another half a meter in next to no time. I found this out, just like many others have found this out, the hard way. Just my two cents.
We just found out the hard way that nothing has been done to prevent floods since last huge one in 1997. Apparently the two only structures built to help with managing the water flow in case of emergency were built 100 years ago and they’re not enough. Everything that changed since ’97 are just some procedures. Sad, stay strong out there.
Well, that seems horrible, I hope y’all are safe ❤
