    There’s also been rumors going around that Vance is going to be set up as the main scapegoat for when Trump loses the election. At that point he’ll have nothing left, and he burned all the bridges making dumb posting comments like this.

People make fake videos of everything under the sun and the fact that people who want to run the country do zero due diligence and take any random video as 100% fact is extremely dangerous.

  28. I truly think that the Trump campaign has put itself into such a small bubble that their social media algorithms are literally making it seem as if their positions on this type of rhetoric are more popular than they actually are.

    Cause there is no way that pushing this point is helpful in anyway.

    Like from an objective standpoint I can see why they would make this an issue in the first place (even though it’s not an issue)… but all signs point to it turning off the “undecided” vote and it’s been alienating his base more and more. Which hurts their turnout. Which’s when a good campaign (I know it’s not one, but that’s not the point) would stop and move to a different thing.

    Like it benefits Harris at the end of the day… so I guess yay? But in reality it’s actually causing harm

  43. Republicans are going after Sherrod Brown’s senate seat. They need net +2 seats to win control of the Senate and targeted John Tester in Montana and Brown in Ohio. They got Montana from “toss up” to “leans right” so they are now concentrating on Ohio. Making people afraid of immigrants has worked for them in the past and it’s why Trump insisted the House not vote on the bipartisan immigration reform bill earlier this year – he wanted to use it as a campaign tactic and they are going all in. And they don’t care who gets hurt along the way.
