  1. hmm schweinsteiger had a few of them. maybe the one against bremen.

  2. It’s Robben, but my hot take for Nr.2:

Luiz Gustavo. Always on target, always dangerous

  3. Gnabry’s opener against Lyon in 2020. Lyon were looking so dangerous on the counter and had 2 or 3 very close chances, and we looked Shakey to start. Lyon had just knocked out Juve and City and had solid momentum. But when Gnabry took that ball, cut in and rifled it into the top corner, all of a sudden the wind was completely out of their sails and we looked way more in control of the game.

  4. No. 1 is Robben obviously, but for No. 2 I would go with Mehmet Scholl

  5. I guess not many of y’all were around during the Commodore kit days.

  6. Best long shot for me would be Kane’s 50 meter goal from last season.

  7. Robben is by far number one and Matthäus probably comes in second

  8. Kane had that shot from midfield last season against Darmstadt, so distance-wise I’d say that’s the best “long shot.” Depends on your parameters though

  9. Probably Robben but Tolisso deserves to be in that conversation. Kimmich also has had a few 30m bangers

    Pavard tried the most tho

  10. It’s got to be Matthaus…DER PANZER (the tank)..his shots were like rockets and scored from outrageous distances… Followed closely by Mehmet Scholl.
Honorary mentions to Elber who could put them away from the corner flag, Schweinsteiger and Kane.

Robben had a great shot but Matthaus corner volley was better and from further out 😉

Edit to add the link to the goal

  11. Toni Kroos. He was pretty good at 20+ meters. And Xavi Alonso!

  12. Ballack had a pushka on him. Definitely one of the best long-shots ever.
