Hey lovely Slovenians!

I am a tourist visiting this beautiful country for the first time and have problems with the WiFi on my phone.

My landlord told me the name of my WiFi and the password. After entering it, the first screenshot opened up.

At first I didnt know anything to do, but then I looked at the back of the WiFi-device and found something-številka and the PUK-1.

After entering both, the second screenshot appeared and now I am totally lost, I just wanted to call my family 😭

I hope someone of you can help me.

  1. It sais warning your PUK1 is wrong or your SIM card has not been activated yet. Seems like you need to visit Hofer tomorrow and put some money on the card to activate the wifi but I’m unfamiliar with hofer wifi hopefully someone else had simillar problem and can help you out.

  2. WiFi2Go sounds like this WiFi AP is not on the cable but using mobile provider for internet data transfer.
Show this to the owner, he probably didn’t pay/buy/prepaid for using SIM card in this modem.

For now maybe go for a walk and search for some WiFi that has same name like some coffe shop/hotel/bar… in you walking path. Many will give you the password specially if you buy yourself some drink/snack… .
