Hi, so i have no idea if this is already a thing, but I havent really seen anyone do it in Norway, and i think yall are really missing out. Basically, what you do is just cut it into smaller pieces, put it in a jar with lots of oil, other cheeses, garlic and onion, and ideally let it sit for a few days. Then you have this "marinated" or "pickled" cheese and you just eat it with a piece of bread or something. I expect to get some hate for this post, but don't knock it till youve tried it. At first, I also thought it would be really weird, but now it is my favorite way to eat brunost. Enjoy, and thank me later🤩

  1. PST wants to know your name and address. You are hereby a persona non grata in Norway

  2. You know what OP, I will hate on it without trying it. Thanks for the nightmares.

  3. Mmm, smells like sacrilege and tastes like heresy.

I would actually like to try that. Always down for a bit of experimentation.
