  1. Would be really cool if they voiced this kinda shit when Republicans make shit up that lead to (attempts of) violence.

  2. We need to call political violence what it is: terrorism. Charge it that way. Prosecute it that way.

  3. Did Biden mention any direct hatred for a particular musician? Probably not, because that would be insane, stupid, petty, and unprofessional.

  4. Meanwhile Trump anytime something happens he dislikes: “Now is the time for political violence.”

  5. Rounding up legal residents en masse and forcing them to leave is political violence Donald Trump says he will do.

  6. But Joe, what if the other party regularly encourages it?

  7. “We have to get over it. We have to move forward.”

Donald Trump after school shooting in Iowa.

    I’m definitely over it, Donald.

  8. I’d have a hard time seeing Trump releasing a similiarly gracious statement if the shoe were on the other foot.

  9. Meanwhile Elon Musk Tweets out asking a question: why is no one trying to assassinate Harris or Biden? Holy fuck holy fuck!

  10. I mean there’s definitely some room for it on the right, it’s literally part of their campaign

  11. As Elon musks gives the dog whistle for an assassination attempt on Biden and Harris

  12. For fucking *fuck* sakes! Why do people continue to give Trump *everything* he needs to keep playing the victim?! He doesn’t need your help with that! He does it just fine on his own. Do ***NOT*** make a martyr out of him!

  13. So long as there’s a place for school shootings, there’s plenty of room for political violence.

  14. If someone did this to a Biden then Trump would be gloating

  15. I thank God that both attempted shooters were Republican. Not necessarily because of political bias, but because all hell would break loose if either one of them turned out to be Democrats. Fingers crossed.

  16. Just here to point out that both would be assassins of Trump used rifles the GOP has worked so hard to make readily available despite an unholy amount of mass shootings in this country.

  17. I agree. It’s a shame merrick garland doesn’t have the spine to properly prosecute political violence and threats.

I can’t stand McConnell but I’m glad that asshat never got on the supreme court.

  18. We crossed that Rubicon already with the bomb threats, shootings, and hate crimes committed by far-right lunatics against their political opponents. After everything Trump has done, I would not lose sleep over his death. Remember how our intelligence assets got compromised and a bunch disappeared? The one million Americans killed by COVID? How he called our soldiers “losers and suckers”? There is a special place in hell waiting for him, and I am surprised heart failure hasn’t already killed him. Stop pretending he didn’t put a target on his own back, because these attempts on his life are his own fault.

Also, he is a pedophile and a proven rapist.

  19. Can we not give this more cycles than it deserves? It was just the concept of an assassination plan. A fact of life. Now let’s give some thoughts and prayers and get over it

  20. For the greatest president ever, he sure does get shot at a lot.

  21. Why are people calling it a shooting when it’s the secret service who shot?

  22. It was a republican. He wanted to force a new candidate

  23. I’m skeptical this actually happened. Also Elon is a terrorist.

  24. The news really needs to talk about this Republican on Republican violence.
