I was hoping someone might be able to help identify this TV I found while in Lithuania, it was on an Austrian/Germany channel called 'Kika'. I got invested and want to know if he was saved from space or what the name is so I can find more about it!
(Hope this is allowed I had a look at the community rules but couldn't see anything thay would make it against)

  1. That’s Bernd das Brot, a show about a depressed bread that runs after the channel stops broadcasting for the day.

  3. Was in my hotel room in Germany late at night browsing trough the TV channels a while back and it was quite creepy

  4. Bernd das Brot (Bernard the Bread), but while in Kika, which is a kids channel, this program is not really for kids, it is shown in Kika a bit later in the night. Bernd is extremely depressive. It used to be my favorite thing in German TV many years ago.

  5. Bernd das Brot is some wild shit. It’s an iconic TV show late at night. The largest target audience are probably stoners. Not judging, I’m one myself.

  6. Ah this brings back the memories of falling asleep whilst watching tv and waking up in the middle of the night to a depressed bread that tells you to turn off the TV over and over again.

  9. Bernd das Brot is a show on KiKa (Kinderkanal/childrens channel)
    Its a depressive loaf of bread and the show is after the usual kids Program and its made to make kids turn the tv off and go to sleep 🙂

  11. Years ago they Made a Version of “Dinner for One” with Bernd das Brot. Most German Thing ever.
