1. She was great in Shogun. I’d only seen her in Monarch and didn’t think much of the performance there, but I’d also thought it was more the script than the actress. Then I saw Shogun, and she did an incredible job there.

2. My first time seeing her was in Shogun. I think her performance was really fantastic. She portrayed how I imagined someone of that era, who had to contain their emotions and put on a neutral face would act. She displayed a slightly subtle conflict within very well.

   Honestly probably my favorite series because the cinematography and attention to authenticity is so fantastic, its a good base for actors like this to really shine.
