I have a few questions about long term visa documents. Recently I have taken approval in principle letter and I booked an appointment for an employment visa through VFS. I will submit my documents soon.
I have completed almost all documents but I have a confusion about “financial means”. This document is not required according to required document list, however, there is a box in supporting documents section related with financial means. Therefore, I thought that maybe I should also supply some document related with it. Since I have a work contract, I am not sure if I need a bank statement or anything else to prove that I can cover my expenses. If I need, how much money should I have in my bank accounts?
My second question is about accommodation. I made a one month reservation through booking.com, however, it is probably too much because I will probably find an apartment to rent in a 10-15 days. Is it a strict rule to have at least one month accommodation?
