The police won’t do anything. Hunts know they are above the law, hence their meaningless “apologies for any inconvenience” statement.
I’m sure the police did absolutely shit all about it.
I imagine this will be fully investigated and no one will be having a quiet word with anyone.
Why are these hunts legal again? If foxes and badgers are somehow an invasive menace why aren’t more normal culling methods used. Why is it this excessively violent, weird clown ritual?
I find it amazing that we still live in a society where hunting with packs of dogs is at all acceptable.
What would the police do? Hunts are well above the law – they can and do block highways so they are impassable by cars and pedestrians and make a right mess. We need to learn this country belongs to the toffs, we’re just here to work for them and pay taxes.
I’d love to do a more positive version of trail hunting, where dogs and people on horseback chase a human runner who gets licked and fussed by the dogs at the end.
There would still be trespassing, but the whole thing would be much more wholesome.
