According with [this map](https://jakubmarian.com/a-study-reveals-how-many-europeans-wash-their-hands-with-soap/) and [this paper](https://www.researchgate.net/publication/340050986_The_Impact_of_Cross-Cultural_Differences_in_Handwashing_Patterns_on_the_COVID-19_Outbreak_Magnitude), both based on [a survey of WIN/Gallup](https://www.bva-group.com/sondages/les-francais-et-le-savonnage-des-mains-apres-etre-alle-aux-toilettes/) (click on *le sondage*), in neighboring countries such as France, Belgium and Germany, 62%, 60% and 78% of people, respectively, wash their hands after using the toilet.

However, Luxembourg does not appear in the survey. Does people in Luxembourg wash their hands after using the toilet?

  1. At the start of the pandemic, I saw this map correlated with the number of Covid cases with Italy having a tough 1st wave.

  2. Perhaps I’m anti-social, but I’ve found it kind of nice not having to shake hands or kiss the past two years (except with my extended family). I’m not looking forward to those greetings coming back.
