Netflix subtitles are laughably bad sometimes, I watched a British film yesterday called Adult Life Skills where everyone speaks in a Yorkshire accent and the poor subtitle writer hadn’t a clue what the characters were saying half the time. Granted it is a strong accent, but the amount of [unintelligible] when even I, someone with no connection to Yorkshire whatsoever, could understand what was being said was mad.

Prime is the worst. Everything is “speaks Russian” , “unintelligible” or just incorrect like in London Irish when they say “sound” it says “signed”.
In Black 47, whenever someone spoke Irish it would say “[speaking foreign language]”. FFS Béarla is the foreign language in Ireland!
Fuck it’s scary looking at black books and thinking damn they all look so much younger than me.
They do this to scottish people who speak english with a strong accent too
