Nothing beats a free shower with ice cold water to wake up in the morning
Is everyone okay? Looked really brutal for the persons in front
Why did they not cancel the routes in this weather condition?
I for one welcome our new aquatic overlords.
They look so chill!
first row gets the best view
Watafaq!
Which ferry was it ?

I was surprised at the beginning of the video about how chill everyone was at the face of the giant killer waves and then I felt vindicated. Hope everyone is doing well!
There’s some crazy winds in Dresden today as well!
I am especially surprised about the lack of vomit on the floor.
Does anyone know which ferry line it was?
FUCK! Hope everyone was OK. Pretty sure I saw the guy right at the front walking away at least.
Why the hell did everyone else take so long to start moving!?
„Sir, Sir!!! Don’t you want to evacuate the observation deck‽”
“No, I have to capture that for Reddit.”
ferrocious experience
Davy Jones be like: You afraid to get wet?
Omg!!! 🙀🙀🙀
Meanwhile me in NRW waiting for the storm to come, just to see the sun shining since morning
How did they stay on their feet/in their chairs when it rolled 90 degrees?!
As someone who lives in Hamburg (and has been on these Ferrys a few times): The most important thing we ask for when buying a new smartphone is :”Does it have IP68?” 🙂

My colleagues sent me this video as well. It is the line 68 between Teufelsbrück and Airbus.
I am really glad I did home office today. I’m on that boat a few times a week, have had some bad weather and some trips that made my stomach sick but nothing like this.
The person in the front gets the full brunt of the wave. I hope s/he is fine.
That was so unexpected
In Hamburg we say summer.
I used to live in Hamburg. This weather is sunshine with slight wetness from the side.
Das muss das boot abkönnen
the guy in red shirt was like “5 sec more and I will go”
In austria we say:”n laues Lüftchen zieht übern See”
Not surprising considering the boat capsized in the beginning. /s
– Hey waitress, can I have some water?
– Shure! Posidon, water to this man, please.
The storm was so severe it made the phone change from portrait to landscape halfway through.
some links about the accident of the ferry “Toller Ort”:
This happened early Thursday morning on a public transport ferry, line 68 from Teufelsbrück to Finkenwerder (Airbus plant). HADAG had already restricted their ferry operations to using only the largest and most seaworthy models all day.
No one was seriously injured, in fact everyone left the vessel on foot in Finkenwerder. However, the safety glass in the front was definitely supposed to withstand waves of this strength, so there must have been preexisting damage, which is now being investigated by the authorities.
Holy shit the entire ferry flipped at an 90 degree angle that’s crazy
so the front fell off
The balls on you germans considering the coming storm

[Another video from today](https://www.reddit.com/r/de/comments/sule0x/st%C3%BCrmische_angelegenheit_heute_morgen_im/) (couldbe a different ferry, but same day and location)
Dialogue at the end of the video:
“Meine Tasche…meine Tasche…wo ist meine Tasche?”
“Ist jemand verletzt?”
“Nö!”
………….
“My bag…my bag…where is my bag”
“Is somebody injured?”
“Nope!”

Two days ago was the anniversary of the [North Sea flood of 1962](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Sea_flood_of_1962) which killed 315 people in Hamburg 🙁

The camera capsized first
