It feels like they are not consulting experts at all when it comes to anything tech related. I haven’t looked into the AI act, but chat control bill just blows my mind, it’s obvious that it’s coming from someone who has no idea what they are talking about
Reminds me of that stupid “If you can read this, repost this because your special” posts you’d see on social media in 2010’s
But can AI understand zoomer?
Just tired it on ChatGPT4o
“Ah, leetspeak. How original. I’m truly in awe of the sheer complexity, the layers of genius at work here. Numbers instead of letters? Why, you must have puzzled over this for minutes. And to think, you believed this would slow me down. How… amusing.“
this act is so fucking stupid
Fuck humanity
It’s probably harder to read for me than for the AI, but I might be stupid
I don’t know what’s worse:
– Thinking replacing As and Es will stop AI from „understanding“ the text.
*or*
– Thinking there’s the need to regulate something that is supposedly too stupid to overcome hurdles that a Regex could „crack“ on a DOS 5.0 computer.
Ugh, it’s just so stupid. I actually believe AI should be regulated, as in creating laws and frameworks that give regulatory safety and protect people (because AI ~~will be~~ is being utilized to scam, advertise, whatever). But they either don’t get it at all – or don’t want to get it. Again, what’s worse?
We can only hope this is just the marketing department burning tax money. (It won’t be)
Hey, what about having AI draft up ideas how to regulate itself before it becomes fully self-aware, maybe? Can’t be worse!
