No tongue and brisket? Shame.
Panadera in Kentish Town is the real deal and I couldn’t recommend highly enough. I miss it so munch since I moved south
Surprised at por boys as not sure they did sandwiches. Was great before the pandemic, then got to popular that they don’t even serve you a meal on a plate.
However Paul Rothes is by far #1. I started working close by earlier this year and everyone in the offices raved about it. The stubborn person I am, put it off until a few lunchtime pints when I took the dive. Definitely best sandwiches in the city.
There are Shree Krishna Vada Pav branches in more places than just north west London /u/theinfatuation.
No sandwich sandwich? Odd. They make incredible stuff
No Rouge Sarnies and Black Pig (poopoocaca) managed to get 3rd place? Crazy
Criminal not to see Doorsteps – Hammersmith on here tbh, great place
I’m surprised they didn’t mention Earl’s Café in Covent Garden, their sandwiches are amazing and huge!
Mondo Sando is underrated
RemindMe! 3 days
Max’s forever
This is a very poor list. I’ve been to many, many better bagel places than whatever that photo excuse for food is.
should have included Dal Florentino in Hoxton imo
This is a truly awful list, wow. Any list that is just like ‘have you guys heard of The Black Pig and Doms subs?’ Just feels like the author Googled it and put together places with the best SEO.
This is also such a snipe but I don’t think bagels are a sandwich. And if your list does contain them you have to have Its Bagels on the list as well.
There are a lot of better places than these. RIP TOU.
