Putin’s TU-142 Aircraft Flies Over Alaska Amid Ukraine Tensions, U.S. Forced To Scramble Jets

The US scrambled fighter jets after detecting and interception of two Russian TU-142 nuclear bombers flying near Alaska on September 13. In a statement, NORAD said, “The Russian aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace.” This was the second such incident in less than a week.

  1. Title says the Russian bombers flew over Alaska. Report says they flew in international waters near Alaska.
Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) is defined as international waters & airspace. Get your facts right H.D.. So what if the US scrambled jets. It's routine procedure when war planes are at the edge of international airspace. …. yawn. Putin is merely backing his threats to the United States that the war in eastern Europe can come to our shores.
If Americans weren't such yahoo meatheads, none of this would be going on.

  2. 0:25 When the US flies it bombers near Russia it is not provocation but when Russia flies their bombers ear the U.S. it is provocation! The double standard and hypocrisy is so blatant.

  3. Pride arrogance, Supremacy hate revenge rules the day hence the reason the world will end, not looking forward to 2025. Every action has an equal and an opposite reaction.

  4. Imagine how scared Alaskans were because a 1960’s piece of junk flew near them …😂. Come on HT stop with the silly propaganda and report something important, no one cares about old Bears flying off our coast.

  5. I trust NORAD with my defense like I trust a fart in public knowing I have the shits. They cannot even stop Chinese balloons. The are indicative of everything Democrat ran, a stinking failure.

  6. I’ve known Ukrainians who didn’t want to be under the boot of Russia any more than Indians liked being under the boot of Britain. It’s in America’s best interest to stop Russian aggression in its tracks. If you read the comments below, you’ll see one showing the Russian desire to have Alaska back. A US state, “Alyaska”, is on Russia’s bucket list! If Putin starts WWIII, Moscow will end up looking like Gaza. Hasn’t he done a little bluffing in the past? Would China allow Putin to eradicate one of their most important trade partners? I argue with some of my friends who support John Mearsheimer, Jeffrey Sachs, Scott Ritter and the like who say we should stop helping Ukraine. When these friends tell me that the US doesn’t want Ukraine to have a compromise peace settlement with Russia, I feel I have no way of knowing if that’s true or not, but suspect it might be. Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty are important, but so is avoiding a nuclear war.

  7. The U.S.-Russian maritime boundary zigzags down the Bering Strait between the Asian and American land masses. Alaska and Russia are less than 3 miles apart at their closest point in the Bering Strait where two islands, Russia's Big Diomede Island and Alaska's Little Diomede Island, are located …meaning the Russians were still at home patrolling their boundary …. Old Alaska was part of the Russian terrirtory which Edouard de Stoeckl, Russian minister to the United States, negotiated for the Russians. On March 30, 1867, the two parties agreed that the United States would pay Russia $7.2 million for the territory of Alaska. For less than 2 cents an acre, the United States acquired nearly 600,000 square miles!

  8. Maybe He wants Alaska back 😂 like his takein back Ukrainian territory that originally belonged to Russia back in history Putin crazy crazy

  9. saying illegal Russia like stealing land in world and stealing gold mining in Africa value trillion dollars like same stealing oil in Afghanistan value trillion dollars, Russia is colonies..

  10. Some Americans in government are oblivious to the dangers of their foreign policies. For years, they have escaped punishment while the homelands of foreigners have been destroyed. I always knew that Alaska would be one of the routes of any possible attack here. If the Russians hit Yellowstone, say goodbye to all you know…. Stupid people 😮smh

  11. If Russian flights are not seen as threat with regular flights around alaska, why scramble jets? Freedom of flight

  12. LMAo, Russian Propaganda channels can't tell the difference between Jets and prop driven planes!! lolol The reason Norad didn't specify the jets because they were not jets ! and it isn't an incident until they fly into US airspace which they didn't because if they did the F-22 that was close behind them would have pulled up so they could see it and the russian crew would have had to change their diapers ! Russia your Airfarce is more of a joke than army but not as bad as your navy lolol Why do you always insist on playing the fool

  13. These Trump assignation attempts all have to do with Corrupt Ukraine and their dealings with money laundering, human trafficking and hidden corrupt CIA and military/bio warfares they have with the current corrupt USA Democratic government.

  14. WHO CARES? Both nations fly along each other's areas while remaining in international waters – so what? The USA and it's Allies also patrol along Russia's coastline and our SR-71 and U2's not only flew near their coast but over their entire land – so what???
Now we have satellites to do the exact same thing. Putin isn't going to start any nuclear war over the Ukraine as it's self-destruct and he knows it too. The Warmongers are out in force today.

  15. LMAo these old crates lolol Alaska sent up the Civil Air patrol in a Cessna 120 to see if they needed help in finding Alaska or their way home ..

  16. Bluff 😅 too many bluff and propaganda in my opinion it's starting to get boring 😂
Russia can't even handle Ukraine ermm… hello
    No offence

  17. I think Russia own Alaska again as all Canadian know Russia owns arctic and north west passage. Canadians use to learn this in school.
