Hi, I am not that familiar with ventilation system but I get some rooms with green and some with red lights! Even those that has green i dont feel any air flowing when i get my hand close to it. They are also too dirty, do they need clean?

How can I make sure ventilation is working properly, in my case I dont think it seems to work.

I am kinda scared to call a profesionist as that might cost alot just to check up?

Thanks,

  1. 2 and 3 are for floor and red means heating up and green is on if i remember correctly

  2. But those two look like floor heating control switches.

  3. The Vallox contraption is the one where you can adjust the airflow. The two second photos with those Ensto gadgets you can adjust the floorheating and the red light indicates that the heating is on. The heating is adjusted by thermostat.

This Vallox remote is not familiar to me as we have only a model where you can turn it on/off and adjust the speed of ventilation.

If you can’t find any manual to that remote I would contact the maintenance / landlord etc to help you how to operate that and maybe make sure that the filters are replaced accordingly.

  4. Maybe you should go back to live in a mud hut in your own country if this is too much technology for you?

  5. Cannot see from the display what the values are, or what the settings are. The right side button controls after heating on, it’s off now. Should be on during winter, when it is sub zero.

Have you replaced the filters in the HVAC when? The F7 filter should be replaced twice a year, I replace after pollen season and before winter. The scarce filters should be replaces couple times a year, I change every two months. Have you cleaned the fans inside HVAC? Fans get dirty over time and that affects the airflow.

What settings do you have? The incoming air setting should be at 17C. If you have electric heating, can be bigger, because you heat with electricity anyways. I have geothermal pre-heating for the HVAC so it circulates water from heatpump well through the pre-heater, and (electric 1000W) after-heating is hardly ever needed. I have automatic summer/winter plate, that turns the heat-exchanger automatically on if outside temp drops below set value (summer 12C, autumn 16C). I have Vallox 150 SE MLV, but same control panel.

Have you checked the brearings of the fans? Mine originals lasted about 5 years, then I changed best blower bearings in them (SKF). Cost like 32€ in total and took an hour to replace the bearings. People do change the whole blowers, and in my case they cost ~500€ per (2 blowers).
