One of the few actually good pics that get posted here. This looks really cool!
My fiancée lives in Canary Wharf, and before that she used to live in the Isle of Dogs so not far from the wharf. She got eligible with one of those housing schemes where she got a 2 bedroom flat for only 1400 GBP, overlooking the Thames.
As someone who loves symmetry , cleanliness, organisation and despises chaos, I find CW extremely calming. It’s really clean, and beautiful. I also like the history and how it transformed into the second business district quite fascinating. Not a great photo below but still cool.
That does not mean I have any soft corner for the TWATs who work in those buildings. Always pretentious looking, vaping, iPhone browsing individuals with no soul.
How many years ago was this? Since they are taking forever to finish that new hotel where the crane is.
