This guy has a few videos I can watch and I can never tell if he’s being serious or whether or not he’s exaggerating and to what extent. He’s really good if this is a persona.
So did this actually happen? Were people really shocked and it was a national scandal?
Also a couple of things he said from the video that I have questions about:
-
I’ve looked up “Sjava and Joseph” but I can’t seem to find anything. Am I spelling it wrong?
-
When he said “I don’t mean sperm I mean sad” is there a Norwegian word that sounds like sad that means sperm?
-
Who is this guy? Do Norwegian people know him?

Yes. Mocca bean have a lot of calories and makes people fat. Everyone was shocked and it was a bad time.
First of all, how did you find a 12 year old clip, from a youtuber that has been dormant for 4 years? 😂
But yes, sæd and sad sounds similar enough.
And yeah, it happened. I had forgotten all about it, but [this](https://www.vg.no/rampelys/i/2Q3ly/madcon-tshawe-rasende-etter-mokkamann-spoek) is an article about it.
This is the news anchor of the main public Norwegian broadcaster NRK.
This news is top news in Norway now.
Next to the story about the Norwegian mountain troll, that got beat up by a group of Swedish forest trolls that had moved into his mountain and claimed it was their territory now.
1. The video is old, the event in question did happen at an award show in 2012 between the duo Madcon (Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam) and the group Plumbo.

2. The word for “sperm” in Norwegian in “sæd». Ir’s pronounced like the English word «sad».
3. This blogger/YouTuber is/was a character performed by an actor: https://www.vg.no/rampelys/i/L2P04/bloggeren-tommy-jeg-har-faatt-mange-drapstrusler
«But many readers of his blog don’t realise that Tommy is just a character.
– «Obviously, I want my readers to think it’s all real, and they do. A lot of teenagers think that tommylife.blogg.no is an ordinary blog from a 15-year-old boy. They think everything they read is true and often get very angry. So it’s extra fun to go in and read all the reactions,» says Bjørnar, who has been on the list of Norway’s ten most read blogs recently.
There are two recurring questions on the Tommylife blog. How old is he and does he wear a wig?
– «People are very concerned about that, but I never answer it,» says the 26-year-old.»
No not really.
I had multiple colleagues that where born in Norway, were Norwegian citizens, and i can say they were subject to a weird type of racism/discrimination. In many occasions, Norwegian (of non foreign background) focused on their foreign name and looks. I have heard myself these Norwegian asking them “Do you date Norwegian or only people from your country”, Do you like Norwegian food or only food from your country” .
The worst of all was one guy asking a colleague if he will return to his country after living there a few years. That person answered to him that he is Norwegian and will never leave his country. So the blond Norwegian insisted by saying ” I mean your real country”.
Saying the above, I want to point out that one thing I can say about norwegian is they don’t care about skin color or other characteristics in the appearance of people. But they do focus on clues that one might be of foreign origin, and i think, deep down in their mind, they don’t consider norwegians with foreign backround to be real norwegian. They do the same with Norwegian Americans if they understand that they come from America (more difficult in this case as they are blond with blue eyes etc)
If the story in the video is true, I believe it was a stupid joke
