  1. I don’t mind them but why they always perform in the middle of the street blocking fhe foot traffic (for instance, those buskers outside Wong Kee)

  2. There are offices in Leicester Square!? What an awful place to work…

  3. As an office worker, I don’t see why means of living should be seen as more important than a busker. We all must hustle to scrape by, then more so than me.

  4. There’s a joke somewhere about the owners of Capital radio complaining about bad music

  5. Actually it’s the other way round- Global Radio is a bloody nuisance that annoys not just Leicester Square but the entire country

  6. Put them all in the soon to be vacant TGI Fridays on the corner.

  7. As a pedestrian, i too hate the buskers of Leicester Square. Irritating, normally off key, and amplified to a painful level. I do my best to walk around LS rather than through it.

  8. I don’t mind buskers in Leicester Square, mostly because it’s a tourist area and I expect them at their dedicated spot. What I can’t stand is buskers in random places who have brought an amp with them so you can hear them two streets off. How self-centred can you be to think everybody wants to be subjected to your music?

  9. So what you’re saying is that Radio X might finally get some new music? It’ll blow their minds when they find out music can be written by someone other than Liam Gallagher or Sam Fender

  10. I’ve been in London for decades and the buskers in Leicester sq have always been annoying. The choice of material and the way it’s played has always been just horribly bland. Also very loud

  11. Ugh the religious bullshit you have to wade through is worse!

  12. Buskers have been in Leicester Square far longer than office workers. I don’t know why Global Radio feels like they can take away a part of London’s culture so they can hole up in a room somewhere “glamorous”.

  13. Musicians are ok, but we need to have an Ed Sheeran tax to deter from this audio plague.

  14. It’s a horrifying experience, a cacophony of awful, trite and obnoxiously loud music played by talentless wankers, impossible to escape from and unbearable to listen to for even a miniscule amount of time.

But that’s enough about Capital Radio, the buskers on Leicester Square are pretty bad too!

  15. They knew where they moved to.
Like buying a house next to a pub then moaning at about the noise in the summer. Knobs !!
