If this is the law being applied correctly, I think the law is too stringent. The examples cited in this article are legitimate expressions of free speech, and ought not to be punishable. “Ongepaste commentaren” en “memes” aren’t calls to violence.
Groepsverkrachters moeten een opstelletje schrijven en klaar is kees…blijkbaar minder erg dan een meme. Typisch voor totalitaire staten (zoals Belgie met 100% politiek benoemde rechters). In de USSR kregen dissidenten ook veel zwaardere straffen dan misdadigers van gemeen recht.

Unia krijgt 8.5 miljoen per jaar. Lijkt mij toch wat te veel als je dit soort nieuws ziet, hun opmerkingen over leeftijdsdiscriminatie nieuwpoort, hun jaarverslag….
Steek dat geld in opleiding van jeugd / gevecht tegen kinderarmoede en de ROI zou veel groter zijn.
