  7. The way she handles the 2nd Amendment is quite smart. She establishes the necessity and desire for protection while also demanding common sense and the absurdity of having a gun that fire dozens of rounds in seconds.

    Also, her laugh and statement of “I shouldn’t have said that” after saying this hilarious.

  8. And that’s fair. I doubt many people, even left leaners, are against defending yourself, especially not in your own home.

    The question has always been did you really need an AR-15 to accomplish that, or would a ~~hunting rifle~~ Handgun or shotgun suffice?

  14. The right wingers believe that they have a monopoly in guns and religion. The rest of the people don’t go around bragging about their guns and pushing their religion on others.

  15. There isn’t much bipartisanship these days, but this is a bipartisan issue which gun owners of any political affiliation can all agree.

    I mean, I’m a “bleeding heart liberal” by MAGA and republican standards, but anyone who breaks into my home is going to get shot. I’m positive MAGA and republican folks feel the same.

    Every former District Attorney I ever met owns a gun, and many public defenders. Too many epically crazy people come through the criminal justice system, and they only know the people they dealt with.

  23. Honestly with how the country is going anyone who is even moderately leftist publicly, especially if they’re a minority of any description should get a gun. It’s possible that we’ll see a huge rise in right wing attempts at mass murder or lynching in the next ten years. The police aren’t to be relied on to stop it. The only real defense is to be armed against home invaders.

  40. She was a District Attorney. Of course she owns a gun. She is not a dumbass and well aware she is at high risk of retaliation from the criminals she prosecuted. On the other hand, we have a bonespur nepobaby who has no concept of what the real world is like.

  41. I am always surprised how many people are shocked that she owns a gun. She was a prosecutor who went after violent criminals. Of course, she owns a gun to protect herself and the people she loves.
