Almost had my trotinette stolen again

Caught the thief live in action on cam.. just amazing how well they are prepared and understand that common people around won't care to catch them.

You'll see how they work in the crowded area.. on getting caught they don't run but walk briskly instead. The guy is fully aware that no one around them gives a damn. Common people are living in another world on smartphone or conversations.. the guy is super calm getting away.. they understand what our generation has turned into… walking deads.. Thieves know perfectly how to exploit this…

Have to praise the Lausanne police for their prompt response. Literally took them 1 min to be on the spot. They already shared my video in their Whatsapp group telling them every thing I told them.

If you get into this situation, I don't recommend chasing the thief like I did. Unless of course if you naturally have a taste for a risk. As a geek, my trotinette is my pet animal.. I couldn't let him just walk away

And do not think you are safe in a crowded area.. may be i didn't make enough efforts.. not sure!

  7. Won’t care to catch them? Are you serious? Try to catch him and pray you don’t get stabbed. Please don’t give proposals that could endanger people’s lives.

    * You’re not grabbing him
    * I sure wouldn’t grab anyone on some random persons say so
    * I’d be opening myself up for a criminal violation or actually get hurt…

  10. why would u think people would step in here? you got him on camera, report it to the police.

    swiss people are smart enough to not make dumb decisions like trying to stop a thief.

    stealing bikes is not uncommon, even in switzerland.
