  1. >Moon told internal investigators he was unaware of the political implications of the sticker and claimed he bought it in support of another officer’s son, Brandon, who suffered a “medical event” in high school, even though Brandon recovered and is now a collegiate athlete, the report states.

Loser cop tries to lie, gets consequences

  2. Good, and not at all surprised it happened in Eastern Washington.

  3. The nutjobs will spin this into “Hero Cop Censored by Socialist PD”.

  4. As any cop will tell you. Ignorance is no excuse.

    Enjoy unemployment.

  5. Acting like a 9-year old should be grounds for dismissal.

  6. How dumb are these people? You shouldn’t need a rule book to tell you that you can’t slap political stuff on government property.

  7. That’s not your car, it’s the citizens car, dumbfuck.

  8. He will simply go to the next town he’d like to live in and get hired as an “experienced” officer. Then he’ll be able to commit more crimes till he gets caught. Rinse repeat

  9. Good. Cop cars shouldn’t have political stickers on them.

  10. Good.

Personal car that he pays for? Go nuts.

    Department car? Nope.

  11. As somebody that works in Spokane, this is not at all surprising. All the squad cars have thin blue line flags on them as well. I think that should be illegal to display on official vehicles and uniforms as well.

  12. >claimed he bought it in support of another officer’s son, Brandon, who suffered a “medical event” in high school, even though Brandon recovered and is now a collegiate athlete, the report states.

An Officer who’s willing to lie about a bumper sticker, is liable to lie about more important things. Would you trust his veracity regarding arrests and other charges. There’s a presumption of an Officer truthfulness on the stand.

  13. Good. He should have been. Leave your politics at home.

  14. Bad enough he did it, but multiple supervisors just ignoring it?? Shows incredible bias across the entire police force.
