It has a bunch of wild species on it.A year back arabs wanted to construct a town on it.I still wonder how it survived communist brutalism and these criminals that run the country now.
i think i saw an award winning documentary about this island where self sustaining gypsies who lived there, were forced to move out.
I hate that island. Instead of making something cool out of it, the city authorities just let it stay there like that. Move all of the species to another river island or some shit, not like there are loads of them along the Danube or anything.
Why not cut it all down and make a business complex there?
