Putin powerless to stop Russians clinging on to Kremlin rebel | Mark Galeotti

“Prigozhin became the image of the true Russian patriot but who was also willing to speak truth to power.”

Russians need a “hero” to express their “dissatisfaction” with Putin as they cling onto the deceased Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, says Mark Galeotti.

  1. It is Ukrainians who are shedding blood protecting their country form the terrorist state. It is only Ukrainians who can decide what constitutes a "win" . Why doesn't the West know this? Of course a win means getting Ruzzia out of Ukrainian territory. Anything else is no less than a "reward" for Ruzzia for invading a peaceful country, and an invitation to do it again when Ruzzia gets strong enough and has accumulated enough weapons again. Is no-on familiar with Ruzzian history? Ruzzia has not changed its views or its ambitions. It is not kept a secret. Ruzzian leaders, including this one, have openly stated this. Who , in the West, is deaf?

  2. Is this not wishful thinking? Is there any hard evidence that the russians are not ready to follow their Dear Leader into total doom? I don't think so – even after 600K casualties they are still willing to sacrifice themselves for the dreams of an old, crazy man.

  3. I’m not totally convinced Putin was responsible for the bomb on Prigohzin’s plane, Shoigu had enough influence and plenty of motive, how do we know it wasn’t his doing?
But then again they’re all as bad as each other, so who cares?
When Pootin is finally ousted, let’s hope they remember their REAL heroes.
    Like Alexei Navalny.

  4. 3:18 Their "deniable tool of the state" vs our "money-making venture that happens to be based in the USA and have deals with the US government" (totally not the same thing) ^^

  5. I don't care if I'm without internet connectivity, running water or electricity, I'm not withdrawing support for Ukraine.

  6. The aim is to conquer the world. They need 4 combined arms armies, 4×50,000 soldiers. St. Petersburg n Moscow. Equipment in reserve. The SMO ends 2025. They will retreat n regroup. They are running out of MBTs n towed artillery.

  7. Hour after hour after hour of nonsense, pure propaganda. More and more people are seeing this garbage for what it is, war machine funded fake news outlet with fake commenters and liars. When the wannabe world owners freak show collapses…and it will, 100s, maybe 1,000s of these propagandists will rightly be in prison…at the very least!

  8. NOT EVERYBODY would turn on Ange! Stop the pathetic whinging and accept building a truely top class team takes time given Spurs are coming from such a low base.

  9. Prigozhin scenario is the only window into Putin-Russia dynamics. both interviewer and interviewee are putting down equal to the best 1 hr u can view on youtube on this topic.

  10. At this point y’all talk about resistance and the fall of the kremlin defectors and y’all don’t have a clue what y’all are talking about it’s wild. It’s clickbait at best

  11. When America turned it's back on God, God in turn lifted his protection from America.

During the Cold War the Warsaw Pact were rightfully seen as the bad guys, they were Communists propagating a Woke (aka leftist) ideology.

Today it is NATO who are the Woke socialists, they have become the bad guys.

  12. Ukraine will win, on Ukraine's terms!!
