Morning all!
As per the title, on Friday I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks and can honestly say its by far the hardest thing I've ever done. I was emotionally, physically and mentally broken after it. 25 miles, 66,000 steps, 12 hours and 1600m total ascent.

The reason I'm posting in here is because 18 months ago I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy and completely gave up. I told myself that I had 12 months left and stopped giving a sh*t about myself.
Since then, I've got my head in gear, given myself a talking to and completed Snowdon last year and now this.

So if this post can resonate with even just one person, then my work is done. Please don't ever give up on yourself!

  1. Congrats duder. I walked 2 of them a few years ago and really want to go and do all 3 in a day. I hope you stopped for a pint near the viaduct

  2. Good work.

Trying to get back into hillwalking shape for the spring. Many wet miles ahead of me.

  3. Spectacular! Younger me would have struggled to do that back when I used to fell walk. Even more impressive to do it with left vehicular hyperspace. Seriously impressive. Treat yourself to a hobnob mate.

  4. Congratulations. I’ll be completing the 3 Yorkshire Puddings challenge later at lunch.

  5. Going back a few years a few of us from work did this. One of the best things I’ve ever done. Went over on my ankle going up Whernside, so had dropped out once I’d done that. Would love to go back and do them all again one day
