Addressing the concerns Stephanie expressed about Ukraine desperately needing more help to overcome the freezing cold for the population this coming winter, due to the targeting of their electricity generation infrastructure. I have for some time wondered if Countries, companies and concerned individuals, could help in a way that enables a very flexible, local, small scale capability. There is an urgent need for an NGO , charity or privately either with a presence there, or at home , to organize and publicise a concerted International drive to put the call out and raise as many small portable electric generators. Any kind of old or new — petrol , diesel or again any type of fuel. Anyone who has an old unit, the Ukrainian people could do the repair to get a troublesome machine up & running again. Groups could raise money to buy small cheap machines. I have seen online recently very small simple heating burners as a basic self install kit with ducting and vent, for a tiny sum, that can run on anything/ used cooking oil/ paraffin, or combination. A massive effort to acquire and send these to the Ukrainians to heat homes/rooms. some have a flat surface that can hold a pot on for cooking/soup. Second hand / new, waste oil or fuel burners and old or new generators . These could be sent over there in huge numbers, and it truly is , urgently needed and deserving. Please pick this up and run with it… Ukrainians are a European focused, young , sophisticated, tech savvy people who are caring and kind. We can come up with simple solutions Help them help themselves.

    In Russia, they are completing the testing of another homemade drone with a grenade launcher, they promise that it will soon be delivered to the troops. The drone has a stabilization mode so that it is not thrown back when the grenade launcher is fired. The drone is equipped with an RPG-26 grenade launcher with armor penetration of 440 mm, it will be used to destroy equipment in the upper projection, for this purpose the grenade launcher is installed at an angle of about 35 degrees. It is also planned to install the RPO "Shmel" on the drone. The drone's carrying capacity is 12 kilograms, it is capable of rising to a height of up to 800 meters and reaching speeds of up to 60 km / h. The drone's operating range is up to 30 kilometers. The approximate cost of the drone is about 600 thousand rubles or 6,500 dollars.

  40. I agree with the comments regarding Australia government and defence with its reluctance to release decommissioned equipment to Ukraine, in particular the helicopters. It's the most inept government in my lifetime.

  41. Extremely vague report give precise names and distances where relevant. As soon as the propaganda starts the figures becomes precise. 30,000 forces moved from one area to the next based on losers report. Russia have been moving at a pace of 30 sq km per day in the Donbas according to reliable sources measured by the flags being raised in the captured areas.

  44. The russian leadership inside their borders is much more a collection of semi independent warlords like Prygozhin was they have less incentive to coordinate of subjugate leadership to their competing officers.
