Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in the US, where he plans to present what he calls a ‘Victory Plan’ to President Joe Biden, as well as presidential hopefuls Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. With Russia making advances, it may be Ukraine’s last best hope for substantial aid.

He started with the tour ammunition factory in Pennsylvania that makes artillery shells that are crucial to Ukraine’s front-line fighting. He thanked the US – and said Ukraine needed more. Zelenskky and the state’s governor took time to sign some of the 155-millimeter shells as well.

Meantime, the war in Ukraine has upended almost everything – including romantic relationships, and families. Government data show birth rates at a ten-year low, and marriage rates almost just as low. In a time of war … love, it seems, is not what it used to be.

    What is Russia? It is an imperial state that has been conquering, occupying and sometimes eliminating smaller nations at all costs, often criminally, including genocide, for a thousand years.

    Russia is a brutal state that was replaced by the bloody communist regime of the USSR of 1922-1993 after the October Revolution of 1917, at the cost of tens of millions of human lives. US President Ronald Reagan rightly described the Soviet Union as an "evil empire". From 1917 to 1993, the Soviet Union provoked or initiated dozens of wars, including civil wars, e.g. in Mongolia, China, Poland, Finland, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, Africa, Asia, and South America. Russia, under the unlawful and brutal rule of Vladimir Putin, has since 1999 destroyed Chechnya, Georgia, committed genocide in Syria, and in 2014 illegally invaded Ukraine, occupying Crimea and Donbas. In 2022, on Putin's orders, Russia launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine. Due to the imperial rule of Putin and his regime, 30% of Ukraine was destroyed, about a million soldiers were killed or wounded, ten million had to leave their homes, and five million Ukrainians fled abroad. So much death, harm, destruction, and suffering because of the greed and criminal nature of Putin and his regime. Russia's war against Ukraine is a systemic war between Western Democracy Ukraine supported by the US, UK, EU, NATO, G7, Remstein Group and the autocratic regimes of Russia supported by the People's Republic of China, Iran, North Korea, Belarus. The war in Ukraine will decide for generations whether the world will be free, democratic, law-abiding or enslaved by criminal regimes.

    In 2022, the leading experts claimed that the war in Ukraine would last several weeks and that Russia would win it without any problems. When after a few days it turned out that Russia was a "giant with feet of clay" and Ukrainians were fighting bravely like the Greeks at Thermopylae or David against Goliath, US President Joe Biden called on the entire democratic world, the EU, NATO, the G7 to help the attacked Ukraine. Helping Ukraine is an investment in our security, it is a victory for democracy, the rule of law and peace in the world. The Moscow regime must lose. If Russia defeats Ukraine, in a few years it will also attack a neighboring country with the hands of enslaved Ukrainians, probably Moldova, then Georgia, then the Baltic countries, maybe Poland, Slovakia and Romania. Russia's victory will set an example and precedent for dictators from the People's Republic of China, North Korea, Iran and other autocrats that attacking weaker neighbors brings benefits and pays off. Therefore, the USA, UK, EU, G7, Remstain Group must do everything in their power, with joint forces and by all available political, military, financial and economic means, for Ukraine to win the war against Russia.

    Ukraine must receive all types of weapons, aircraft, tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, anti-missile systems, millions of rounds of ammunition, as well as assistance in training and recruiting soldiers, and if necessary, NATO troops should be sent to support Ukraine.

    Russia in 2014 and in 2022 committed a criminal attack on Ukraine, Russia is the aggressor, Russia is guilty of the war, Russia is responsible for all the evil of this war, therefore, with our help, Ukraine must defeat Russia and push its armies beyond the 1991 border, including Crimea and Donbas. The peace pact between Ukraine and Russia must have international guarantees, Russia must recognize the inviolability of the 1991 borders, and Russia must pay compensation and war reparations for all damage and wrongs done to Ukraine.

    Ukraine, as a democratic state of law, must join the EU and NATO. Together, but also with Russian money, we will rebuild a safe, modern, prosperous Ukraine.

  35. Zelensky met with the President of Paraguay in America. Yes, the meeting is useful. Hopefully, the Paraguayan told how during the six years of war in the 19th century, up to 90% of the men of his country were killed, as a result of which, a century and a half later, it remains one of the poorest countries in South America. He can tell Zelensky a lot about how children aged 9 and older were mobilized in that war. Or is Ze already preparing for such a scenario?

  41. He's done nothing but Lie about almost everything for over 3 years. The Basic function of a democracy needs factual information to work, not his smoke and mirrors tricks. His "Victory Plan" is just another one of his costly military disasters in the making, this time involving everyone in the west and not just his own poor suffering people. He's an unhinged tyrant that needs to be called out, while we still can.
