Booby-trapped Hezbollah walkie-talkies explode in second wave of strikes across Lebanon

ISRAEL has declared a “new phase of war” after Hezbollah terrorists were hit by a fresh wave of detonating devices – killing at least 14 and injuring hundreds.

Booby-trapped walkie-talkies used by fighters blew up in their hands this afternoon and triggered blasts across Lebanon’s south.

It comes just a day after 12 people, including two children, were left dead and thousands wounded after “brand new” pagers exploded across the country.

Israeli spies had carefully planted explosives in thousands of pagers before detonating them by sending a coded message.

  1. It is going to be awkward at the office for the hezbollah dude who was baited and ordered these pagers and walkie talkies ._ .

  2. Look on the bright side, Anthony Glees. A major war may have been averted by the proactiveness of the IDF and their intelligence network.

  3. No wonder this circuit failed, it says “made in Japan.” What are you talking about, Doc? All the best stuff is made in Japan.

  4. When Israel says they will go to war, it's not just for show. On October 7, after their 1,400 civilians were brutally murdered, Hezbollah has been firing rockets from there for almost a year without any further provocation. If you harbor terrorists in your country, the price you pay might be your entire nation. In the coming days, things might get worse. War benefits no one. If Hamas had released the six Israelis they had in captivity (whom they reportedly killed earlier) without harming them, and negotiated the release of others, there could have been a quicker end to this crisis, at least a small opening for peace. The death toll in Lebanon also includes militants, as previously stated, though there could be others as well. For Israel, any threat to the safety of their people will result in a response like this at the very least. For any country, it is in their best interest to avoid war with Israel.
