18. It's a game for Americans. Europe is clearly one US election away from being betrayed on pretty much everything. This can't go on. We need to go our separate ways and keep each other at an arm's length. Solidarity among friends and America First are mutually exclusive concepts. It's not even relevant that most Americans probably do feel solidarity with Europe on a personal, cultural level. Most of them also prefer the right to choose at a 2:1 ratio. They have gone completely tribal.
