Sounds pretty much exactly like the American version, so not sure what the complaining is about.
There are 12 remakes of the original UK Office, this will make it the 13th. Literally what is the issue?
>Here’s the only thing you need to know about the Australian spinoff/remake/reboot of The Office, the first trailer for which has just hit the internet and sent fans of the beloved NBC franchise into an uproar: Imagine the version of The Office that you know and love, the one that ran for nine seasons here in the US, but with every trace of anything even remotely funny ripped out of it.
So it’s like the Australian version of The Office is to the American version of The Office what the American version of The Office is to the British version?
English is the difference. People complained like crazy about the US office and still do. Hell I know people who weren’t even born when the Office came out that have stoned opinions on the subject. It’s a whole thing. Personally I enjoy riling the Pommies up about it. It’s crazy to think people wouldn’t complain about an even newer and less polished version with less impressive actors.
Australia really outdoing the world in cringe this year.
Are we talking like “Hello Ladies” level cringe?
Because it’s bad? The title kind of makes it sound like it’s doing what it is supposed to which is be extremely cringe.
I’ve been concerned about Australia for a little while now, this only reinforces the worry.
Should have brought in Chris Lilley.
As opposed to the USA cringe? That’s a lot of cringe tv.
Isn’t cringe 99% the point of The Office?
