They even mentioned that because of his personality, he’d likely do it again. So yeah, nine months of jail seems like plenty of time to change his mind.
I’m not one to be in favour of harsh sentences for every small bit of criminality, but it does seem that some very serious offences, which our neighbours punish much more severely, aren’t taken all to seriously by our criminal statutes…
