Is this really worth the cost, deployment and disassembling time over the more traditional “close one lane, work on it, open it up, close the other lane, work on it, open it up” ?
While the idea was quite interesting theoretically, that thing is useless in practice. A lot of drivers will just brake down to 5-10 km/h before the ramp, so you get the highway traffic jam anyways. As was the case daily, a couple of weeks back, between Egerkingen and Bern.
