  1. > Who even owns the land?

It’s who owns that sign that you’ll be paying.

  2. Just park. If it’s not a council issued ticket, it doesn’t count.

Such is the lore of this sub.

Also, be a real shame if some mud was on your plates making ANPR invalid. Just sayin’, like.

  3. Tap2park? Sorry who? Also “Customer Service” is some rando mobile? HHahahaaa actual wit man

  4. I’m probably in the minority here but I don’t see the issue? Why would you expect to be allowed to store your property on someone else’s land for free?

If you think I’m wrong then tell me. If you just don’t like what I’m saying but can’t explain why, down vote away…

  5. That’s a joke. Why start now? It honestly sounds like it’s only possible because they wouldn’t have to install a payment machine, and what’s the fine? Sounds almost voluntary

  6. It’s a scam. Been shared elsewhere and someone is simply changing their arm.
There is also a lot of fake QR codes being out over genuine council ones in other places. Be careful

  7. According to Scotlands Land information services, the entire area including the car park belongs to the Auchineden Estate.

According to companies House the estate is owned by a pair of Danish nationals – brothers, Nicolaj Due and Ole Christoffer Due.

They also own a company called “Danish Endurance” which is a sportswear/outdoor company.

They have a forestry project which might explain their interest in the land at queens View. [Danish Endurance](https://danishendurance.com/pages/forest-project)

The car park and the surrounding area is private land.

  8. I’ve a feeling this is a scam. I can’t see any reference to East/West Dunbartonshire or Stirling Council on the sign, nor any reference on their websites.

Think someone is chancing their arm.

  9. The prices are for tourists and at that are reasonable enough but Scotland is a beautiful country so I’m shure there are plenty of places Scots people can go without the tourist charges.

  10. Anyone got an angle grinder and a free afternoon? Sign needs coming down
