Floods in Europe: At least eight people killed

At least eight people have died in floods across Europe.

More rainfall is expected in the coming days with surging river levels putting authorities on high alert.

Tens of thousands of homes have been damaged so far in Romania and in the Czech Republic, where thousands were evacuated across the border.

  25. Jeszcze takiej katastrofy ten region nie widział, mało tu pokazują, ale pękają tamy i wały powodziowe fale uderzeniowe niszczą zabytkowe miejscowości o niesamowitej architekturze i historii np. Lądek Zdrój najstarsze uzdrowisko świata, fala zmiotła 500 letni kamienny most nie do odzyskania. W tym regionie jest pełno niesamowitych obiektów zagrożona jest jedna z największych wodnych tam Pilchowice

    A bit wierd since it was forecast 3-4-5 days in advance. People had plenty of time to evacuate.

The United States under President James Carter, created FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and while the European Union, has been hit by one catastrophic flood after another, even tho their towns are primarily located on rivers, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO APPLY AN AGENCY LIKE THE NATO GROUP TO ACTUAL PROTECTION. Does NATO do anything genuine in weather emergencies or does their money go to paying their military staff?
