I miss the old frascati centre, there’s nothing in the new one… Debenhams was great! As for old Sallynoggin, well that Lidl is massive so I think they’re on the up and up
1. No earthly idea
2. Blackrock
3. I think Lidl on Sallynoggin Road
4. Sir John Rogerson’s Quay
5. Aungier Street
6. Terenure
2 looks like Blackrock, opposite the Frascatti.
3 says Lidl Glenageary, so I’ll take a wild stab at it being in Glenageary
4 is Grand Canal, on the quays, near where that diving bell is I think
5 is annoying me; is it in the Aungier St area or am I way off?
6 is terenure, as the other poster said
No idea where 1 is
1 is the post depot at East Wall, think the rest have been answered already.
Google Street View is probably the closest we’ll ever get to a Time Machine.
Imagine this in another 20 years. Imagine if you could go on right now and see how everything looked in the 80s, or view your childhood home as it was when you lived in it.
Saw both of these posts beside each other. Serbia also has some form of a housing crisis but my god is it depressing to see how they can do this and we’re incapable of building anything close.
How can you look up the old ones?

They destroyed Blackrock
I forgot ~~Labour’s~~ Yes for Jobs’ campaign. It never made sense to me.
Edit: I don’t think it was just Labour. It was yes for Lisbon.
That Lidl that days Glenageary is in Glenageary
I love going looking at these on google maps.
1 is Ravensdale Road, Eastwall D3
My house, greenhouse, and neighbours shed are all missing from my local street view, which is 11 years old now.
documenting the lidl takeover. Look at it there, pedobearing in pic #4
