Will US give Ukraine permission to hit Russia with long-range weapons?

Ukraine’s President is at the White House, unveiling his much-vaunted ‘victory plan’ to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Ahead of that meeting the US President announced more than eight billion dollars of military aid for Ukraine.

It includes the first shipment of precision-guided glide bombs with a longer range than the missiles Kyiv is currently using.

But what Volodymyr Zelenskyy really wants is US permission to use Western-supplied missiles to hit targets deeper in Russia.

  1. First up I am not a Russian supporter or a bot, or a Trump supporter. But the reality is this. Ukraine is not winning the war, the Russians are gradually making inroads, and the Ukrainian incursion is a small salient. Using long range missiles will not stop the war either and only provokes Putin further and risks a serious escalation. It is probably best to admit that a truce is the only viable way out, and I am not a Trump supporter. But continuing this conflict is totally pointless.

  4. This is risky . Bombs may drop .. i dont think russia blew up that Romanian ship ! .

    I think his navy went to seize the ship . And the un had orders to blow ot up before it fell into enemy hands .. putting it as an action on russia and Putin . As war crimes.

    Being their fault added to their global deficit that they dont believe they have .. that we are magically adding up for them to pay us later in retributions . To be covered by russian fault .

    By someone blowing up that ship they accussed russia by default. Of war crimes and potentially green lighting a real nuclear war . Now giving him permission by default as he has now already been vilified and accused of war crimes and russia will be remembered by sich war crimes .. what now stops them from doing such war crimes .. the weapons act on russias part is by default.. they may not use it but as it stands they no longer needed such sanctions … A big move on putins part but almost symbolic if he was foeced into it .. if they go to place better defnces russia will destroy them but they cant keep this up and also want to return to the old ways ..

    But how can they now… They just got out of the world banks to now probably have war retributions to be paid in taxes all over again . Not impossible but will they decide on nuclear war or paying retribution!

    I wonder if putin is even the person to worry about now .. 😅 they have stolen billionairs money's… And elon showed us how cheap it is to built icbms at 250k a rocket .. I hear their are alot of pissed off rich Russians now possibly capable of blowing up whole city's .. and those rich people will be gods if the world falls ..they have the most to gain .. just like vault tec lol.

I picture a local Russian man at the wharf. then elon musk shows up with his super yacht ..then the mans local customs hi jacks it .. and the man goes home to his family to say kids pack your bags were moving because the customs just stole elon musk's yacht and it might not be safe within a 100 miles of this area now!

  10. Currently, the situation is the same as it was in the USSR-Afghanistan war of 1979 – 1989. The last 3 years of the war (1986 – 1989) are a period of fighting that is completely unnecessary, further fighting will only result in unnecessary deaths and injuries, as it was no longer possible to able to achieve the goals of this war. Russian soldiers in Afghanistan and the Kremlin knew this perfectly well. They deliberately sacrificed their dead and wounded. It was only about a propaganda game for television and the press, so that the people would have a vision appropriate to the Russian mind, i.e. manipulation of the victims in order to achieve something only for themselves.   12. In world war 2 when the allies landed at D Day, the German generals all knew the war was lost. Hitler said to fight to the last young German. This is what is happening now in Ukraine and all you media that try to portray it differently will have to face the guilt of all those young Ukranian and Russian boys who will die needlessly because of the pride and unjust power of a bunch of old men.
