Interesting article on Holyrood and it’s impact as it marks 25 years
Given how things are going you have to wonder whether devolution will last another 25 years.
Scotland gets a wee bit of choice over its own decisions. Things area wee bit better than in England.
What does this tell us about independence?
This is a picture perfect BBC piece. That is – ostensibly balanced and uncontroversial while at the same time clearly a Unionist point of view and trying to salve the status quo. I mean obviously that’s what the BBC is for, but I don’t otherwise find the piece very deep.
I can’t believe we’ve got to the 25th anniversary already. I was involved in the 20th anniversary celebrations and that honestly felt like a blink of an eye ago.
It’s more like a devolution of devolution. Far from be a thing for unity, the SNP have used it as a thing for furthering division at any juncture they can
As a somewhat naïve mid 20 something I voted in favour of devolution, unfortunately now all I see is a failed experiment which simply introduced additional cost and bureaucracy.
